The objective of this course is to equip learners with advanced professional skills in beauty therapy, skincare, makeup, hair styling, and salon management. The course is designed to train individuals in both traditional and modern beauty techniques while also developing their entrepreneurial abilities to run or manage beauty parlours and hairdressing salons successfully.

Syllabus:

Manicure & Pedicure: Introduction, anatomy and physiology of the skin, function of the skin, layers of the skin, epidermis, melanocytes, dermis, collagen fibre.

Temporary Removal of Superfluous hair: Introduction, causes of superfluous hair, stages of hair growth cycle, method of hair removal.

Threading, Tweezing and Bleaching: Methods of hair removal, shaving, tweezing, threading, waxing, laser treatment, electrolysis.

Basic Hair Styling: Hair growth pattern, hair quality, types of hair pieces, types of temporary colour, pre-lightening techniques, global colour techniques.

Basic Makeup & Bindi Designing, Facials: Introduction to makeup, basic of makeup, cosmetology concept, hair care, hair dye and coloring, salon management.

Sterilization & Sanitation: Uses of sterilization, Methods of Sterilization, heat, factors affecting sterilization by heat, dry heat, types of filters, chemical methods of sterilization.

10th Grade (high school) or Equivalent.
